How to Choose the Right Quartz Monitor Crystals
INFICON's ongoing research into Quartz Monitor Crystals characteristics drives continuous improvements, aimed at delivering the highest reliability for your process. For most applications, we recommend gold electrode oscillator discs. However, silver electrode oscillator discs provide superior performance in high heat load processes such as sputtering, and may improve oxide deposition. Alloy electrode oscillator discs are recommended for optical coating with dielectric materials and semiconductor processes involving high-stress materials.
